But you will find tips here like:
How to minimize Outlook to the System Tray:
Note: the System Tray is called Notification Area in Windows XP...
If you want to "tray" Outlook you need to create this DWORD-value in the registry and set the value of MinToTray to 1.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences]
"MinToTray"=dword:00000001
If you are running Office 2003, you have to change '10.0' to '11.0'.
When an AVI-file cannot be deleted, because 'it is being used by another program or person', and even after a reboot it cannot be deleted, try deleting the following key in your registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}
This will allow you immediately to delete the file, as well as speed up Windows Explorer when trying to access folders with many large AVI-files in them.
Automatically Reboot on the 'Blue Screen of Death' (Windows NT/2000/XP)
Change the following value in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl]
Value Name: AutoReboot
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
Allow 'unsafe attachements' in Outlook:
Add (or modify) the following key in the registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security]
Value Name: Level1Remove
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
The value of the Level1Remove key are the extensions you wish to allow, separated by a semicolon. E.G.:
exe;bat;cmd;reg
